Parks and Recreation
The city of Pearland enjoys 7 community parks 10 neighborhood parks and 2 dog parks. Currently pearland is reinvesting in several of it’s Parks and a Trail system that will connect the entire city as part of the city’s capital improvement plan. The parks department also offers special events throughout they year including Winterfest, Celebration of Freedom, Concerts in the Park, and Paws in the Park.
Commute
At 18 miles from City Hall to the Medical Center and some subdivisions just 11 miles Pearland is a great choice for medical professionals. Most drivers can get to downtown Houston from anywhere in Pearland during rush hour traffic in under 30-45 minutes. Currently TX288 is undergoing construction to add paid toll lanes from Beltway 8 to Interstate 69.
